DSM Promo's aim is to provide a platform for multiple artists on one EP, with a focus on letting the music speak for itself rather than emphasising the individual reputations of the artists involved. This approach aims to give exposure to both established and emerging artists without overshadowing their work with preconceived notions. The label will primarily focus on Jungle, Drum & Bass, Breakbeat & Hardcore, providing a niche space for artists within these styles to showcase their talent. DSM Promo adopts a music-first approach, prioritising the music over the background or previous accomplishments of the artists. This allows for a level playing field where artists can experiment freely with new sounds and styles. By keeping the artists unknown, DSM Promo creates an environment where all artists, regardless of their level of recognition, can coexist and explore new creative avenues without any biases or expectations.
